In this guided process you will use the power of Neuro Linguistic Programming, in particular submodality work, the brain’s building blocks of thinking. As you playfully explore and work with your imagination you will change your thoughts which then will change your feelings.
Submodalities are how we code our internal experiences using aspects of different senses, visual, auditory and kinesthetic. When we change how we experience a thought, how we see it, and hear it, we change how we feel it and gain control over our internal experience. When we change how we code a thought we immediately change the meaning we had attached to it and therefore our inner state changes. Then we are free to choose our responses, our behavior and our reality. You are less attached to the emotional significance of an event, person or situation. In this meditation we play with changing how we see our thoughts, hear our thoughts and observe how our feeling state is impacted. It’s a great tool to help with staying resourceful and update your mind set. Taking troubling perceptions and creatively changing them can even be fun!
